A live streaming of the Hon’ble Prime Minister’s address on Pradhan Mantri Dhan-Dhaanya Krishi Yojana (PMDDKY), the Pulses Mission, and the National Mission on Natural Farming (NMNF) was organised today at 11:00 AM in Salema Community Hall. The programme was inaugurated by Hon’ble MLA, Surma constituency, Smt. Swapna Das Pal, who graced the occasion as Chief Guest. Hon’ble Vice-Chairman, Salema Panchayat Samiti, Shri Nani Gopal Kar presided over the function. Hon’ble Chairman, Salema G.P., Smt. Bina Das Biswas attended as Special Guest along with Hon’ble Pradhans—Smt. Gopa Das (Singinala G.P.), Shri Nishi Kanta Debnath (Purba Dalucherra G.P.), Shri Mithun Das (Kachucherra G.P.), Shri Apurba Poddar (Salema G.P.), and Smt. Chabibala Debbarma (West Dalucherra G.P.). Dr. Abhijit Debnath, Senior Scientist & Head, KVK Dhalai, was also present.
